The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Gorizont II's (1-5) road loss to fifth ranked Victoria (2-3) 45-80. The game without a history. Victoria led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Gorizont II to just 4 points in fourth quarter. Victoria dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Gorizont II's 30. Victoria forced 24 Gorizont II turnovers. It was a good game for guard Yana Yakhnavets (169-1) who led her team to a victory with 17 points and 4 steals. Point guard Yuliya Vasilevich (164-1) contributed with 17 points and 6 steals for the winners. Darya Semiletnikova replied with 15 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Lyubov Stepanova (165-99) added 5 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Gorizont II. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Victoria maintains fifth position with 2-3 record. Gorizont II at the other side keeps the sixth place with five games lost. Victoria's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Grodno to the arena Olimpia GrGAU.
