No shocking result in a game in Anshan where fourth ranked Shenyang Golden Lions (7-2) defeated 10th ranked Liaoning Hengye (2-7) 80-73 on Saturday. Shenyang Golden Lions made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. The former international swingman Jiabao Jin (184-93) stepped up and scored 20 points and 6 assists for the winners and the former international forward Shuang Zhao (188-90) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Shenyang Golden Lions players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center Kelsey Bone (193-91, college: Texas A&M) with 30 points and 9 rebounds and forward Jiamei Liang (182-92) scored 14 points and 4 steals. Liaoning Hengye's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Shenyang Golden Lions have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Shanxi. Liaoning Hengye lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Sichuan. Shenyang Golden Lions will meet league's second-placed Shanxi Rui Flame in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Liaoning Hengye will play against Xinjiang (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
