Very important is a road loss of third ranked Venezia (5-1) against fourth ranked Lucca (5-1) on Sunday night. Visiting Venezia was defeated by Lucca in Lucca 60-45. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Venezia. The game without a history. Lucca led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They outrebounded Venezia 34-23 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for forward Kayla Pedersen (193-89, college: Stanford, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds. American swingman Julie Wojta (183-89, college: Green Bay, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 8 points and 6 rebounds for the winners.
