Regular Season Round 6: PeU-Basket - PuHu Juniorit 77-88

1st Division top team - PuHu Juniorit (6-0) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat sixth ranked PeU-Basket (3-4) in Pernio 88-77. It was a good game for American power forward Brian Moultrie (198-87, college: Armstr.Atlantic) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Oscar Lindqvist (188-90) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Five PuHu Juniorit players scored in double figures. Forward Riku Laine (197-97) replied with 24 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Tiel Daniels (200-92, college: Colorado St., agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) added 17 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for PeU-Basket. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. PuHu Juniorit maintains first position in Division with 6-0 record. Loser PeU-Basket dropped to the eighth place with four games lost. PuHu Juniorit will face Espoo Basket (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. PeU-Basket will play against Korikouvot (#5) in Kouvola and hope to win that game.
