A very interesting game took place in Brescia. It ended with only one-point home defeat of 14th ranked Brescia (1-5) to eighth ranked Betaland Cdo (3-3) 90-89 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Betaland Cdo shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. It was a good game for Uruguayan point guard Bruno Fitipaldo (183-91, agency: Pro Sports) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 assists. American forward Dominique Archie (200-87, college: S.Carolina) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American forward Marcus Landry (201-85, college: Wisconsin) replied with 22 points and 4 assists and international point guard Luca Vitali (201-86) added 11 points and 8 assists in the effort for Brescia. Four Betaland Cdo and five Brescia players scored in double figures. Brescia's coach Andrea Diana rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Betaland Cdo moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Brescia lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fifteenth position with five games lost. Betaland Cdo's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Vanoli Cremona (#16) at home and are hoping to win another game. Brescia will play against Enel Brindisi and hope to win that game.
