There was a small surprise when eighth ranked Matera (3-2) rolled over at home 6th ranked Isernia (3-3) 98-79 on Sunday. Matera made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Isernia's players. It was a good game for swingman Stefano Laudoni (195-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international Federico Lestini (204-83, agency: SPORTlab Agency) contributed with 32 points for the winners. Four Matera players scored in double figures. Matera's coach Roberto Miriello used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Marco Salari (184-96) replied with 32 points and 5 assists and point guard Mattia Norcino (185-93) added 16 points in the effort for Isernia.
