Regular Season Round 8: AZS PGd - Domino Inowr. 61-65

There was a surprise result when ninth ranked Domino Inowr. (4-3) won against higher ranked AZS PGd (5-3) in Gdansk 65-61 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 65-61. Domino Inowr. forced 19 AZS PGd turnovers. Guard Mateusz Marciniak (190-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points. Krzysztof Kozlowski (198-92) contributed with 9 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Lukasz Jaskiewicz (202-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and guard Robert Kolka (184-93) added 17 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for AZS PGd. Domino Inowr. have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place in Group A, which they share with Goleniow. Loser AZS PGd dropped to the third position with three games lost. Domino Inowr. will face higher ranked Asseco II (#3) in Gdynia in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
