An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Holon. Second ranked Hapoel Holon faced 3rd placed Hapoel Jerusalem. Host Hapoel Holon (4-1) smashed guests from Jerusalem (3-2) 99-76. The game without a history. Hapoel Holon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Hapoel Holon shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 65.0 percentage. American Khalif Wyatt (193-91, college: Temple, agency: Pensack Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 6 assists. His fellow American import swingman James Bell (198-92, college: Villanova) contributed with 28 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Hapoel Holon players scored in double figures. International forward Lior Eliyahu (205-85) answered with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American swingman Tarence Kinsey (202-84, college: S.Carolina) added 17 points in the effort for Hapoel Jerusalem. Hapoel Jerusalem's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Hapoel Holon maintains second place with 4-1 record behind leader Maccabi T-A. Hapoel Jerusalem at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. They share it with Maccabi Rishon and Hapoel T-A. Hapoel Holon will play against Maccabi Haifa (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hapoel Jerusalem will play against Maccabi Ashdod (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
