Everything could happen in Shenzhen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Leopards and 9th ranked Jilin Tigers had identical 2-1 record. This time Leopards used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Changchun 108-88 on Sunday night. Leopards dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Jilin Tigers' 44. Leopards had a 37-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. American point guard Jeremy Pargo (188-86, college: Gonzaga) fired a triple-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists for the winners. Polish-Swedish power forward Maciej Lampe (211-85) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. Five Leopards players scored in double figures. American forward Malcolm Thomas (206-88, college: San Diego St.) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Jabari Brown (193-92, college: Missouri) added 29 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Leopards (3-1) moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Jilin Tigers dropped to the eighth position with two games lost. Leopards will face Liaoning Hunters (#5) in Yingkou in the next round. Jilin Tigers will play at home against Shanxi Zhongyu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
