Bottom-ranked Battipaglia (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 62-45 loss to ninth ranked Umbertide (2-4) in Umbertide. The game without a history. Umbertide led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Battipaglia's 20. Umbertide moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Broni and Torino. Battipaglia at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Umbertide's next round opponent will be higher ranked Ragusa (#6) on the road and it may be quite challenging game. Battipaglia will play against Vigarano (#10) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
