Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. American-FYR Macedonia point guard Marques Green (165-82, college: St.Bonaventure) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Adonis Thomas (198-93, college: Memphis) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Scandone AV players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was DR Congolese Christian Eyenga (201-89) with 20 points and 6 rebounds and American point guard Eric Maynor (191-87, college: VCU) scored 15 points and 8 assists. Openjobmetis VA's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Scandone AV have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Grissin Bon RE. Loser Openjobmetis VA dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. Scandone AV will face league's second-placed Grissin Bon RE in Reggio Emilia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Openjobmetis VA will play on the road against VL Pesaro (#13) and hope to win that game.
