Regular Season Round 8: BG Lulea - LF Future 60-88
Date: November 7, 2016
The game with biggest result difference took place in Lulea. Local BG Lulea (2-6) was outscored by fourth ranked LF Future (4-1) 88-60 on Monday night. The game was mostly controlled by LF Future. BG Lulea managed to win fourth quarter 11-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. LF Future forced 20 BG Lulea turnovers. Worth to mention a quality performance of naturalized Iraqi forward Samir Ali Hussein (200-92) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eleven shots !!!) and point guard Caleb Musie (175-95) who added 19 points during the contest. Center Edvin Tedesjo (202-98) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and point guard William Eriksson-Hansson (184-98) scored 8 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. LF Future have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Eskilstuna and Alvik Basket. Loser BG Lulea keeps the tenth position with six games lost. LF Future will meet at home Alvik Basket (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. BG Lulea will play against the league's second-placed AIK (#2) and hope to secure a win.
