Regular Season Round 10: Liaoning - Xinjiang 83-64

There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Xinjiang (3-7) was outscored by tenth ranked Liaoning Hengye (3-7) in Anshan 83-64. Liaoning Hengye dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Xinjiang's 36. Liaoning Hengye forced 21 Xinjiang turnovers. American center Kelsey Bone (193-91, college: Texas A&M) scored 27 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Jiamei Liang (182-92) chipped in 20 points during the contest. Four Liaoning Hengye players scored in double figures. At the losing side ShiChing Peng responded with 34 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and guard Lee Wang (170-92) scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Liaoning Hengye moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Heilongjiang and Xinjiang. Xinjiang lost fifth consecutive game.
