There was a small surprise when fifteenth ranked Gandia (2-5) defeated at home 12th ranked CB Tarragona 2017 (2-5) 83-72. It looked good early as CB Tarragona 2017 took a 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Gandia took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 11 points. They also forced 19 CB Tarragona 2017 turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Sergio Vidal (194-88, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Adria Duch (185-95) contributed with 18 points for the winners. American Orion Outerbridge (206-88, college: Rhode Island) answered with 18 points and 5 rebounds and Ivorian-American forward Salim Gloyd (198-92, college: Hawaii-Hilo, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for CB Tarragona 2017.
