Regular Season Round 6: Triglav - Kraljevo 68-53

Very significant was Slovenia Triglav's (#2, 4-2) victory against 4th ranked Serbian ZKK Kraljevo (0-3) 68-53. The game without a history. Triglav led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Triglav outrebounded ZKK Kraljevo 35-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Point guard Rebeka Abramovic (172-93) scored 23 points and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Ziva Zdolsek (178-89) chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Tamara Bajic (175-87) with 6 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Croatia guard Ivana Seric (170-88, college: NJIT) scored 10 points and 4 assists. ZKK Kraljevo's coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Triglav maintains second position in A with 4-2 record behind leader Beroe. ZKK Kraljevo at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. Triglav are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Partizan (#5) in Beograd in the next round. ZKK Kraljevo will play at home against Play Off and hopes to get finally their first victory.
