The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Rocamora as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (CA Temperley) loss. Rocamora defeated leader CA Temperley at home 82-72. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of CA Temperley. It was a key game for the top position in the league.
