Regular Season Round 9: Pelplin - Tarnovia 82-67

2Liga top team - Pelplin (7-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat ninth ranked Tarnovia (3-5) in Pelpin 82-67. Pelplin forced 30 Tarnovia turnovers. It was a good game for Karol Debski (198-84, agency: Promotex) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds. The former international swingman Bartosz Sarzalo (197-83) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Four Pelplin players scored in double figures. Damian Antczak (197-95) answered with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Rafal Milczynski (185-94) added 9 points and 4 assists in the effort for Tarnovia. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Pelplin have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group A with 7-0 record. Tarnovia lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with five games lost. Pelplin's next round opponent will be Gniezno (#8) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Tarnovia will play against Domino Inowr. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
