Regular Season Round 8: Dijon - Nanterre 72-73

The most exciting game of round 8 in the ProA took place in JDA Dijon. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 7th ranked JDA Dijon (4-4) to fourth ranked JSF Nanterre (6-2) 73-72 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of JDA Dijon. JSF Nanterre made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Mathias Lessort (205-95) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. American point guard Chris Warren (178-88, college: Mississippi) contributed with 25 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winners. Naturalized Chadian forward Jacques Alingue (201-88) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and the former international point guard Axel Julien (184-92) added 14 points and 4 assists in the effort for JDA Dijon. Four JDA Dijon players scored in double figures. JSF Nanterre moved-up to second place, which they share with Pau-Lacq-Orthez and Chalon. JDA Dijon at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with 6 other teams. JSF Nanterre is looking forward to face Chalons-Reims (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. JDA Dijon will play against Le Mans (#9) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
