Regular Season Round 8: CAM E.Soler - Novaschool 95-70

There was no surprise in Melilla where 4th ranked Novaschool (2-4) was outplayed by first ranked CAM E.Soler (5-1) 95-70 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by CAM E.Soler. Novaschool was better in fourth quarter 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Novaschool 43-24 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Joe Graessle (193-92, college: Tiffin) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Senegalese center Masine Fall (208-93) who added 20 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Forward Alejandro Romero (201-98) responded with 18 points and center Anastasio Vazquez (204-92) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Novaschool players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. CAM E.Soler have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group D-A with 5-1 record. Loser Novaschool dropped to the sixth place with four games lost.
