There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Sant Nicolau (2-5) edged on the road higher ranked Cornella (4-3) 77-76 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 18-10 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of center Larry Ewulu (197-92) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 6 rebounds and forward Marc Sobrepera (201-86) who added 15 points (perfect from the field making all six shots) during the contest. Four Sant Nicolau players scored in double figures. Sant Nicolau's coach used entire bench in such tough game. Point guard Bernat Alvarez (176-95) responded with 17 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and power forward Victor Mbappe (198-94) scored 15 points. Sant Nicolau moved-up to eleventh place in Group C-A, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Cornella dropped to the fifth position with three games lost.
