Bottom-ranked Stabill is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their sixth consecutive match to thirteenth ranked Trefl (3-3) 78-70 on Saturday evening. Stabill was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. American point guard Anthony Ireland (175-91, college: Loyola Mary) notched 17 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) to lead the effort and guard Piotr Smigielski (190-89) supported him with 13 points. Even 23 points and 7 rebounds by American Travis Releford (198-90, college: Kansas) did not help to save the game for Stabill. His fellow American import guard Brandon Brown (180-89, college: Montana-West) added 16 points. Four Stabill players scored in double figures. Trefl moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Stabill still closes the standings with six games lost. They share the position with Start Lublin. Trefl will meet Polpharma (#10) in the next round. Stabill will play against Polpharma (#10) in Starogard and hopes to get finally their first victory.
