Undefeated leader AIK delivered the sixth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked KFUM Uppsala (2-5) 81-41 in Solna. The game without a history. AIK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding KFUM Uppsala to just 7 points in third quarter. AIK held KFUM Uppsala to an opponent 19.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 47.8 percent accuracy of the winners. AIK forced 23 KFUM Uppsala turnovers and outrebounded them 48-32 including a 33-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by KFUM Uppsala's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when AIK made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was forward Nemanja Jovanovic (198-91) who scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Alexander Russom (196-95) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Alan Zekovic (195-98) who recorded 11 points and forward Tobias Skyttevall (196-95) added 5 points and 8 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for AIK.
