Regular Season Round 9: Lobas - Talje 63-55

Everything could happen in Lomma at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Lobas and 11th ranked Talje Knights had identical 1-5 record. This time Lobas used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Talje 63-55 on Saturday night. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-14. But Talje Knights won second period 17-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was guard Kasper Hagberg (185-98) who scored 15 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Guard Timmie Andersson (190-97) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Michiel Petersen (204-94) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Oskar Holm (197-98) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Talje Knights' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Lobas (2-5) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Helsingborg and KFUM Uppsala. Loser Talje Knights keep the eleventh position with six games lost. Lobas will face RIG Mark (#10) in Kinna in the next round.
