The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Antwerp Giants (7-1) on the court of third ranked Oostende on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Oostende 90-85. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Antwerp Giants. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Defending champion (5-3) moved-up to second place, which they share with Mons-Hainaut and Aalstar. Antwerp Giants at the other side still keep top position with one game lost. Oostende is looking forward to face Kangoeroes (#6) in Willebroek in the next round. Antwerp Giants will play at home against Okapi Aalstar (#4) and are hoping to win this game.
