Leading Martorell (5-2) recorded its second loss at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by eighth ranked Calvia (4-2) 79-75. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 26-17. But Martorell won third quarter 20-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Calvia won last quarter 30-27. Calvia had a 37-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was power forward Jose Maria Morales (205-89) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Forward Ivan Matemalas (194-80) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Calvia players scored in double figures. Guard David Jofresa (185-95) produced 19 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Cristian Oliva (185-82) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Martorell's coach Adria Alonso rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Calvia have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in Group C-A, which they share with Arenys. Loser Martorell dropped to the second position with two games lost.
