Regular Season Round 9: Znicz Basket - Biofarm PZN 61-63

A very interesting game took place in Pruszkow. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 14th ranked Znicz Basket (2-7) to eleventh ranked Biofarm PZN (4-5) 63-61 on Saturday evening. The best player for the winners was forward Filip Struski (200-94) who scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Mateusz Brek (192-94) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Biofarm PZN's coach Przemyslaw Szurek allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Damian Tokarski (193-88) who recorded 22 points and 7 rebounds and Robert Cetnar (198-88) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Biofarm PZN moved-up to tenth place, which they share with SKK Siedlce. Znicz Basket at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with seven games lost. Biofarm PZN's next round opponent will be higher ranked GTK Gliwice (#3) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Znicz Basket will play against Astoria Bydg. (#15) in Bydgoszcz and hope to win that game.
