Bottom-ranked TLU/Kalev is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to third ranked Rapla (4-1) 79-76 on Saturday evening. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 79-76. Dutch center Thomas van der Mars (208-90, college: Portland) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and Slovenia point guard Domen Bratoz (189-93, agency: Two Points) supported him with 15 points and 4 assists. Four Rapla players scored in double figures. Even 28 points and 6 assists by Canadian point guard Jahmal Jones (183-91) did not help to save the game for TLU/Kalev. They maintain third position with 4-1 record behind leader TU/Rock. Loser TLU/Kalev still closes the standings with five games lost. Rapla will meet league's leader TU/Rock in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. TLU/Kalev will play against Valga (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
