Very predictable result when second ranked AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski (6-2) smashed on the road 10th ranked MKK Siedlce (1-7) 86-53 on Saturday. AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski forced 24 MKK Siedlce turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Courtney Hurt (185-90, college: VCU) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Australia guard Stephanie Talbot (188-94) who added 24 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals during the contest. Four AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski players scored in double figures. AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski's coach Dariusz Maciejewski felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Magdalena Parysek (186-89, agency: Promotex) responded with 9 points and 11 rebounds and guard Katarzyna Trzeciak (173-92, agency: Promotex) scored 9 points and 6 assists. AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski maintains second position with 6-2 record behind leader Wisla Can-Pack, which they share with AZS UMCS and Sleza Wroclaw.
