LFB top team - Bourges (6-1) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat seventh ranked Lyon (3-4) 74-60. Bourges players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a quality performance for Brazilian center Clarissa Dos Santos (184-88) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Canadian center Kayla Alexander (193-91, college: Syracuse, agency: LBM Management) accounted for 12 points for the winning side. Bourges' coach Valerie Garnier allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Mali center Djene Diawara (192-85, agency: Comsport) came up with 16 points and 9 rebounds and American-Dominican Carmen Guzman (172-85, college: UAB, agency: Merit Management Group) added 19 points respectively for Lyon in the defeat. Bourges have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-1 record. Lyon at the other side keeps the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Nice and Nantes. Bourges will play against Villeneuve D'Ascq (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Lyon will play against Nantes Reze and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
