Regular Season Round 13: Fujitsu RW - Toyota B SR 73-65

Rather expected game in Kawasaki where 7th ranked Toyota B SR (5-6) was defeated by fourth ranked Fujitsu RW (9-2) 73-65. It looked good early as Toyota B SR took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Fujitsu RW had a 18-12 second period charge getting the lead and Toyota B SR was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 65-73. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard Rui Machida (161-93) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. International swingman Chinatsu Yamamoto (175-91) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and guard Yui Kawahara (169-91) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Toyota B SR. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Fujitsu RW. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Chanson V-M and Denso Iris. Toyota B SR at the other side keeps the seventh position with six games lost. Fujitsu RW's next round opponent will be again Toyota B SR (#7) in Aichi.
