There was no surprise in Kinna where 8th ranked Telge (2-8) was crushed by fifth ranked Mark (6-3) 90-57 on Sunday. The game without a history. Mark led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Telge's 26 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. American guard Tiasha Gray (170-94, college: Austin Peay St.) had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and international center Elin Ljunggren (185-96) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five Mark players scored in double figures. Mark's coach Robin Sandberg felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side point guard Anita Ilic (169-94) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Portia Durrett (185-92, college: Oklahoma) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Mark have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 6-3 record. Loser Telge keeps the eighth place with eight games lost. Mark will meet Visby Ladies (#9) on the road in the next round. Telge will play against the league's second-placed Alvik Basket and hope to secure a win.
