The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Marghera (5-1) in Civitanova Marche on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked Civitanova (5-1) in overtime 71-67. It was a key game for the second position in A2. Civitanova made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 Marghera turnovers. Guard Veronica Perini (175-88) had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian power forward Kristina Ostojic (190-91) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Civitanova are looking forward to face league's leader Bologna on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
