Regular Season Round 10: Syntex Ksiezak - AZS PS Kielce 90-68

No shocking result in a game in Lowicz where first ranked Syntex Ksiezak (9-1) smashed 14th ranked AZS PS Kielce (1-9) 90-68 on Sunday. Syntex Ksiezak dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to AZS PS Kielce's 40. Syntex Ksiezak forced 20 AZS PS Kielce turnovers and outrebounded them 46-22 including a 20-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. Syntex Ksiezak looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Point guard Bartosz Wluczynski (176-88) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. Power forward Maciej Piatek (198-83) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Coach Robert Kucharek's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players saving starting five for next games. Filip Drogosz (195-95) produced 16 points and 5 assists and point guard Lukasz Pawlak (184-96) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Five Syntex Ksiezak and four AZS PS Kielce players scored in double figures. Syntex Ksiezak have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group B with 9-1 record. AZS PS Kielce lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth place with nine games lost. Syntex Ksiezak will face league's second-placed KK Warszawa on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. AZS PS Kielce will play against AZS UMCS Lbn (#4) and hope to win that game.
