There was a minor upset when higher ranked San Vendemiano (3-4) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Reggio Emilia (3-4) 68-62 on Sunday. It was a great evening for power forward Federico Pugi (206-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Gioacchino Chiappelli (195-91) helped adding 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side power forward Andrea Carlesso (202-82) responded with 13 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Michele Antelli (183-98) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. San Vendemiano's coach Fabio Volpato rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Reggio Emilia moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated San Vendemiano. Reggio Emilia will face Milano Urania (#15) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
