There was no surprise in Zagreb where 5th ranked Ragusa (3-3) was defeated by second ranked Tresnjevka (6-1) 57-49. Ragusa was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 30-19 second half run of Tresnjevka. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Ragusa to just 7 points in third quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Ana Lelas (183-83) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Lucija Kostic (187-0) contributed with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Swingman Romana Stojanovic (186-93) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds and Danish center Katarina Popovic (188-92) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Ragusa. Tresnjevka maintains second place with 6-1 record having just one point less than leader Medvescak. Ragusa lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with Pula C.Tours and Podravac. Tresnjevka's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Zagreb to the arena Croatia 2006.
