Regular Season Round 9: Hogsbo - Koping 83-82

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Koping (6-1) in Goteborg on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Hogsbo (7-0) 83-82. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Koping. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 11 points after three quarters before their 29-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Hogsbo forced 23 Koping turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Lukas Brehm (191-91) who scored 37 points (!!!). Forward Filip Sjostrom (200-90) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Hogsbo's coach Jonas Fredrikson used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Khalil Davis (196-94, college: Austin Peay St.) who recorded 21 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import Ronald Boggs (-91) added 20 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Hogsbo have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 7-0 record. Koping at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. They share it with Eskilstuna. Hogsbo are looking forward to face RIG Mark (#10) in Kinna in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Koping will play at home against Helsingborg (#8) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
