Regular Season Round 6: Liaoning FL - Jilin NE T. 115-102

Not a big story in a game in Yingkou where 12th ranked Jilin Tigers (3-3) were defeated by fifth ranked Liaoning Hunters (5-1) 115-102 on Sunday. Liaoning Hunters outrebounded Jilin Tigers 55-32 including a 20-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Dejun Han (215-89) chipped in 19 points and 18 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American swingman Jabari Brown (193-92, college: Missouri) with 48 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import forward Malcolm Thomas (206-88, college: San Diego St.) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Liaoning Hunters moved-up to third place, which they share with Guangsha L. Loser Jilin Tigers dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Liaoning Hunters will face Shanxi Zhongyu (#8) in Taiyuan in the next round where they are favorite. Jilin Tigers will play at home against the league's leader Shanghai Sharks and hope to win that game.
