Regular Season Round 7: Ortona - Matera 87-86

There was an upset when higher ranked Matera (3-3) was edged on the road by eleventh ranked Ortona (3-4) 87-86 on Sunday. It was a great evening for naturalized Argentinian point guard Victorio Gustavo Musso (185-84) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Luca Castelluccia (202-86) helped adding 22 points. At the losing side guard Gianni Cantagalli (195-88) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Stefano Laudoni (195-89) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Ortona and five Matera players scored in double figures. Ortona moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with 7 other teams. Loser Matera dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Ortona will face Monteroni (#11) on the road in the next round.
