Everything went according to plan in Ourense where seventh ranked Calidus Gal.COB (3-2) beat bottom-ranked Seis do Nadal (0-6) 77-65 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Calidus Gal.COB. Seis do Nadal was better in third quarter 27-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Calidus Gal.COB forced 30 Seis do Nadal turnovers and outrebounded them 34-19 including 20 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Cristian Iglesias (198-94) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 9 rebounds and forward Xabier Arriaga (202-97, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who added 14 points during the contest. Oscar Garcia (-94) responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds and Cristian Garcia (-93) scored 12 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Calidus Gal.COB moved-up to sixth place in Group A-B. Newly promoted Seis do Nadal still closes the standings with six games lost.
