Bottom-ranked Caballos is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their ninth consecutive match to fourth ranked Aguilas (4-6) 64-42. The game without a history. Aguilas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Forward Tayina Ellis stepped up and scored 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners and Yamila Jonas chipped in 14 points. Four Aguilas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Mercedes Pedreschi with 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and Y Morales scored 8 points. Defending champion maintains fourth place with 4-6 record. Newly promoted Caballos still closes the standings with nine games lost. Aguilas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Caballos will play against Correcaminos (#3) and hope to get finally their first victory.
