Important game to mention about took place in Huesca. Sixteenth ranked Magia Huesca (3-6) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 17th ranked Barca II (2-7) 73-71 on Sunday evening. The hosts trailed by 15 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 2 points. Strangely Barca II outrebounded Magia Huesca 40-28 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was center Alberto Fontet (213-86) who scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. American-Italian point guard Matt Carlino (189-92, college: Marquette) chipped in 19 points. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Jordi Trias (208-80) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and Brazilian power forward Wesley Sena (210-96) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Magia Huesca moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Barca II lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with seven games lost. Magia Huesca will face CB Prat (#13) on the road in the next round. Barca II will play against Ourense (#8) and hope to win that game.
