Regular Season Round 2: Pauian - Fubon Braves 86-87

The most exciting game of round 2 in the SBL ended with only one-point defeat of Pauian (2-2) to Fubon Braves (4-0) 87-86 on Sunday evening. Canadian center Liam McMorrow (218-87, college: Tenn Tech) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. The former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. The former international swingman Ching-Pang Lin (190-85) replied with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Chen Jian-En (181-88, college: Biola, CA) added 12 points in the effort for Pauian. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Fubon Braves are looking forward to face KKL (#5) in the next round. Pauian will play against Dacin Tigers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
