Regular Season Round 10: Polonia Leszno - Nysa Klodzko 64-57

Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked Nysa Klodzko (1-9) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Polonia Leszno (6-4) 64-57 on Wednesday. Polonia Leszno outrebounded Nysa Klodzko 47-29 including 19 on the offensive glass. Power forward Maciej Rostalski (198-90) had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Szymon Kiwilsza (202-97) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Polonia Leszno players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Marcin Bluma (201-89) responded with 8 points and 9 rebounds and guard Michal Weiss (188-82) scored 16 points and 5 steals. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Polonia Leszno moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Legia W-wa. Nysa Klodzko lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Polonia Leszno will face Kotwica (#10) in Kolobrzeg in the next round where they are favorite. Nysa Klodzko will play at home against AZS AGH Krk. (#12) and hope to win that game.
