Regular Season Round 12: Osorno - AB Ancud 82-68

Rather predictable result when second ranked Osorno Basquetbol (10-5) defeated at home 6th ranked AB Ancud (5-10) 82-68. Osorno Basquetbol made 24-of-30 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. AB Ancud was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by American forward Brandon Robinson (198-89, college: Clayton St.) who scored that evening 39 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and the other American import center Yamene Coleman (208-86, college: Troy, agency: Interperformances) supported him with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Even a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) by American forward Reginald Larry (198-86, college: Boise St., agency: Pro Sports) did not help to save the game for AB Ancud. Venezuela swingman Francisco Centeno (201-85) added 15 points and 6 rebounds. Osorno Basquetbol have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-5 record behind leader Los Leones. AB Ancud at the other side dropped to the seventh place with ten games lost. Osorno Basquetbol will play against league's leader Los Leones in Quilpue in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. AB Ancud will play at home against Tinguiririca S.F. (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
