The game in Aldeota was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Brasilia (3-1) played at the court of 7th ranked SKY/Basquete (1-2). Brasilia managed to secure a 9-point victory 81-72 on Thursday. Brasilia made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for international power forward Lucas Mariano (208-93) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!). The former international point guard Fulvio de Assis (188-81) contributed with 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. The former international forward Marcus Vinicius Toledo (201-86) replied with 16 points and 6 rebounds and the former international Audrei Parisotto (196-84) added 12 points in the effort for SKY/Basquete. SKY/Basquete's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Brasilia moved-up to third place. Loser SKY/Basquete dropped to the eleventh position with two games lost. Brasilia will have a break next round. SKY/Basquete will play on the road against Vasco Da G. (#10) in Rio de Janeiro and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
