Regular Season Round 4: L.Sorocaba - Bauru 70-84

There was an upset when higher ranked Liga Sorocaba (2-1) lost to tenth ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (2-2) in Sorocabana 70-84 on Friday. Paschoalotto/Bauru shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. It was a very good performance for the former international Jefferson Andrade (207-83) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Guilherme Santos (189-97) contributed with 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Paschoalotto/Bauru players scored in double figures. Alexandre de Souza (202-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and guard Rafael Castellon (192-85) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Liga Sorocaba. Liga Sorocaba's coach tested eleven players and allowed the starting five to rest. Paschoalotto/Bauru moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Liga Sorocaba keeps the fourth position with one game lost. Paschoalotto/Bauru will face Pinheiros (#9) in Sao Paolo in the next round.
