Regular Season Round 10: Melilla - Forca Lleida 75-65

Third defeat of league's leader Lleida Basquet (7-3) against fifteenth ranked Melilla Baloncesto (4-6) 75-65 was the most important game of the last round. The game was mostly controlled by Melilla Baloncesto. Lleida Basquet managed to win third quarter 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Melilla Baloncesto forced 19 Lleida Basquet turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of center Oliver Arteaga (208-83) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Hector Manzano (207-80) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Four Melilla Baloncesto players scored in double figures. Brazilian forward Leonardo Demetrio (203-94) replied with 6 points and 13 rebounds and forward Miguel Feliu (198-85) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Lleida Basquet. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Melilla Baloncesto moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Lleida Basquet at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost. They share it with 5 other teams. They were replaced at the leadership position by Gipuzkoa GBC. Lleida Basquet will play next round against strong Leyma Basquet trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Melilla Baloncesto will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Leche Rio Breogan in Lugo.
