Bottom-ranked Bayi Rockets is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their eighth consecutive match to sixteenth ranked Jiangsu Dragons (3-5) 102-75. Jiangsu Dragons shot 22 for 31 from the free-throw line, while Bayi Rockets only scored four points from the stripe. Jiangsu Dragons forced 23 Bayi Rockets turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by Bayi Rockets helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American swingman MarShon Brooks (196-89, college: Providence) who scored 22 points and 4 assists. Center Yuanyu Li (206-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds. Four Jiangsu Dragons players scored in double figures. The former international center ZhongHao Xu (212-90) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and international forward Yuchen Zou (203-96) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jiangsu Dragons moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Zhejiang CB and Fujian QB. Bayi Rockets at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost. Jiangsu Dragons' next round opponent will be higher ranked Shandong Bulls (#11) in Jinan and it may be quite challenging game. Bayi Rockets will play at home against Guangzhou (#20) and look forward to get finally their first victory.
