The game in Minsk was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Vitebsk (4-4) played at the court of 5th ranked BSEU-GrandPrint (2-4). Vitebsk did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 101-84. It looked good early as BSEU-GrandPrint took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Vitebsk had a 27-19 second period charge getting the lead and BSEU-GrandPrint was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 84-101. They outrebounded BSEU-GrandPrint 46-35 including a 35-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Point guard Ivan Aladko (192-95) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists. Power forward Anton Vashkevich (204-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Vitebsk players scored in double figures. Point guard Dmitriy Roslikau (183-95) replied with 30 points and 4 steals and guard Valentin Nazarov (185-97) added 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for BSEU-GrandPrint. BSEU-GrandPrint's coach tested eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Vitebsk have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 4-4 record. BSEU-GrandPrint at the other side keeps the fifth place with four games lost. Vitebsk's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Grodno-93 on the road and it may be the game of the week. BSEU-GrandPrint will play against the league's leader COR-Borisfen and hope to win that game.
