Regular Season Round 6: Rouen - Nantes 67-77

Everything went according to plan when fourteenth ranked Nantes (3-3) beat on the road bottom-ranked SPO Rouen (1-5) 77-67. The game was mostly controlled by Nantes. SPO Rouen was better in fourth quarter 21-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American Christopher McKnight (201-87, college: Akron, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Valentin Bigote (196-92) contributed with 20 points for the winners. American-Bahamas forward Jonathan Fairell (201-93, college: Murray St., agency: Duran International) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and Steeve Ho You Fat (202-88) added 18 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for SPO Rouen. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Nantes moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Evreux and Le Havre. SPO Rouen lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with five games lost. Nantes' next round opponent will be STB Le Havre (#10) at home. SPO Rouen will play against Boulazac Basket (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
